Greg Cowell said… - Chris, the sewer is in. They did a neat job in early November. I still have to wire it and connect t water meter to the well per city requirement. We were visiting Janine's dad in Lake Placid, FL last week. The weather there was better than Indiana. Our lake here is frozen over. See you in May. Greg

- Hi Chris! I am leaving on the 20th to start my job in Columbia, SC. If I get a chance in summer of 2010 I will try to connect in Mackinaw City. I do so love the City and Island! Brings many good memories to my mind. I will really miss my family in Michigan though with this move. There are no jobs in Michigan so I have to go where I know I have work. This is painful to go before the holidays but I guess with SKYPE/OOVOO we can still see and hear everyone. Take care and have a safe a blessed Holiday!

Mike Forrester said… - Thanks for the note. Jeanine did the walk and she, well, took her time. I think she was about 14th in her age group. The important thing is that she enjoyed the walk and didn't finish last!
It was wonderful to meet you and I'll look forward to our next visit when we can spend more time talking. We had such a great visit and it's always hard to leave. The good news is we're planning our next visit already! Mike

- The Church of the Holyrood cemetery at Stirling Castle makes for an interesting walk. Next time I'm there I'll have a look out for the name.

Brenda Horton said… - We leave Saturday and will spend the night in Atlanta. On the island by Monday around lunch - at least that's the plan. It's beautiful here in Georgia this morning too. The lake is calm (I missed the sunrise). See you soon.
