Bridge walk

I have been watching the bridge walk since before 5:00 this morning on the webcam. Looks beautiful! Sitting here at home wishing I would have gone! Anyone who walked it...let's us know how it was. Looks like there is quite a crowd!

Thank you for the welcome to this blog. As you said, no words can explain to people unfamiliar with the Island, as to what a spell the Island can put on you. As I noted before I was sent to the Island a young Coast Guards man, many long years ago. I was really taken in, and then when "Some Where in Time" was filmied, a whole new interest was kindled. I just wish when I talk about Mackinac, more people could see it from my eyes. Thanks again for the welcome. Bob
