Rush hour on Mackinac Island isn't quite the same as it is anywhere else in America. Perhaps that's one of the reasons I enjoyed watching it from my perch above Main Street. The 2nd floor balcony of the Lilac Tree Suites and Spa provided a great view of Main Street on this busy summer morning. In this episode, I set up just east of The Island House Hotel looking toward St. Anne's Church on an early summer afternoon during the Lilac Festival. The lilacs were in full bloom adding some wonderful color to the already vibrant palette of colors on Mackinac.
