I took a trip to Mackinaw Island and fell in love with this carless, bike friendly, charming and wonderful place. I am interested in knowing how a single retired (55 y.o.) and healthy individual could go about working on the Island as a caretaker, or house sitter/pet sitter. I have put an ad on Craigslist, and have even had a call or two, but from others who would like to do the same!

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Lorraine
