If you are on Mackinac on Friday, June 18th, you're invited to the east front porch of Grand Hotel for a social media get-together from 5:00PM to 6:30PM. Last week, the forecast for Mackinac was not looking especially good. Rain and cool temperatures. Not unexpected but not welcomed, either. I've been remarkably lucky that the weather has cooperated quite well on nearly all of my visits. When I have extended family with me, as on this trip, I make an extra wish for good weather. I'm happy to report the weather has been incredible since we arrived on Wednesday evening.
