Mackinac Island Blog

Visitor Information, News, Videos, Photos, History

Every day I take a look at what the internet has to offer regarding Mackinac Island. In some ways, I'm surprised at how much I find. After all, it's a small place with perhaps 500 year-round residents. It's not exactly easy to get to and it's basically 'open' six months of the year.

Most everyone I speak to either 'knows it' or has never heard of it - with the majority being of the never heard of it crowd. But those who have heard of Mackinac Island and especially those who have visited sing their praises for the island. Some are fortunate enough to now live on the island. Others, like me, are just regular visitors.

Over the last few months, I've stumbled across several other people who like to write about Mackinac Island in their blogs, so I thought I'd share them with you. They don't blog exclusively about MI, but I've found that even the non-related posts can be of interest. So, in no particular order, here they are:

The Quilted Tutle

Troll On The Bridge

Paul Rutherford

Grandiose Verbosity

All Things Michigan

I'll continue to add to this list as I come across other Mackinac Island Fans. Please let me know if you know of any as well. Happy blogging!
