Get ready for a full day of activities on Mackinac Island tomorrow. Here's my suggestion for the day (many of which I'm doing):

9:30am - Governor's Summer Residence is open for tours (free)

10:00am - Stone-skipping contest begins at Windermere Point (kids games and family activities)

12Noon - Stone-skipping Pro's take to the shore and try to beat the 26-skip record!

2PM - Visit the Mackinac Art Museum (admission required)

3PM - Enjoy a boat ride on the Ugle Anne, departing from the Yoder Dock

6PM - An American Picnic at Fort Mackinac (special fee required, catering by Grand Hotel)

8:30PM - Board the Shepler's Fireworks ferry for a memorable view of the fireworks from the Straits. Boats depart both Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City.

Have a Happy Fourth of July!
