Mackinac Island Christmas Tree Lighting is Friday, December 4th
Enjoy a little bit of Mackinac Island holiday tradition by watching the Christmas Tree Lighting via the www.mackinaclive.com webcam on Friday, December 4th at 5:00PM. Though the webcam doesn't include audio, you'll have a front row seat for the evening activities.

I was thinking the same thing Mike. They hit it right on with the snowfall. Looks like they have a lake effect warning on today yet and they are saying up to a foot in some areas. Hard to tell just how many inches they have as of now looking at the webcams.

Joyce - great that you got the photos! It's almost as if someone queued the snow to fall in time for the tree lighting!

The tree lighting was awesome. I also caught them putting the tree up a few days ago as well on the tourism webcam. It was beautiful on the webcam and I bet even more so to be right there. These pictures I got from the Horn's webcam.
