Once again I'm featuring a view of the present day Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island - but it was the Moral Re-armament Assembly at the time this photograph was taken, which I would guess was sometime in the early 1950's, prior to when Small Point (B&B) was moved from its original location to where it rests today.

You can see the steeply gabled roof of Small Point just below and left of the center of the photo. If you click on the picture, a larger version will open for easier viewing. Small Point was one of three cottages on what became the MRA campus and if I remember correctly, the last one to be moved from the campus.
This postcard is also interesting in how vacant the land in front of the dorms (now the Mission Lodge) is just a few decades ago. You can clearly see St. Anne's church and beyond that, the white beach where the marina stands now. The large green area between the Chippewa Hotel and the Grand Hotel is now the Jewel Golf Course. A simple postcard, but also a glimpse into Mackinac in the 1950's.
