Mackinac Island Home Movie

The carriage ride stop at Arch Rock begins about 90 seconds into the video and includes great shots of the harbor/downtown, the fort (with rifle demonstration), Grand Hotel (notice the open air cupola) and a rock formation that I don't recognize! Any ideas?

There's a lady walking past Mission Point when the building closest to the road was under construction. I believe it was built around 1967 when the property became Mackinac College, but I may be off a few years.

You mean the rock formation at about 3:30 minutes? Ever biked to Arch Rock on 185? Just before you get there look left. It's part of the same formation but no one ever sees it. They're focused on the water or getting to Arch Rock. You can only see it when traveling from town towards the rock. It's not far off the ground. I think when Arch Rock falls apart, this will be the new Arch Rock. It looks like you can climb easily up to it but there are signs advising against it.

Anyways, hope you get to see it soon.
